Getting Help
For the fastest help, include the following in your message:
- A short description of the issue or question
- Your device and app version (for example: iPhone 15, iOS 17.4, Arting v1.0)
- Steps to reproduce the problem (if applicable)
- Any relevant screenshots (optional)
Common Questions
Exhibitions not loading?
- Check your internet connection
- Try pulling down to refresh
- Make sure you’re running the latest version of the app
Can’t find a specific exhibition?
We’re constantly updating our exhibition listings. If you know of a show that’s missing:
- Email us at hello@arting.art with the exhibition details
- Include the venue name, exhibition title, and dates if possible
Favorites not syncing?
Arting syncs favorites via iCloud. Make sure:
- You’re signed in to iCloud on all your devices
- iCloud sync is enabled for Arting in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud
App crashing or behaving unexpectedly?
Try force-quitting and reopening the app. If the issue persists, please email us with details about what you were doing when it happened.
Feature Requests & Feedback
We love hearing from users! If you have ideas for new features or improvements, send them to hello@arting.art. While we can’t implement every suggestion, we read and consider all feedback.
Common requests we’re considering:
- Additional cities
- Calendar integration
- Notifications for new exhibitions at favorite venues
- Opening reception reminders
Report an Issue with Exhibition Data
If you notice incorrect exhibition information (wrong dates, closed venue, etc.), please let us know:
- Email: hello@arting.art
- Include: Venue name, exhibition title, and what needs to be corrected

Suggest a Venue
Know of a gallery, museum, or art space that should be in Arting? We’d love to hear about it! Email us at hello@arting.art with:
- Venue name and address
- Website or social media links
- Brief description of their exhibition program
We review all suggestions and are always looking to expand our coverage of the San Francisco art scene.
For Venue Managers
If you manage a gallery, museum, or art space, you can now update your listing directly through the Arting Venue Manager.
With the Venue Manager, you can:
- Claim and verify your venue
- Update hours, address, description, and images
- Add and manage your exhibitions
- Keep your information accurate in real-time

To request removal:
If you’d prefer your venue not be listed in Arting, please email us at hello@arting.art with your venue name and we’ll remove it promptly.
For Artists
If you’re an artist with an exhibition listed in Arting and would like to make changes, we’re here to help.
You can request:
- Updates to exhibition information (dates, description, title)
- Changes to exhibition images
- Removal of your exhibition from Arting
To make a request:
- Email: hello@arting.art
- Include: Exhibition title, venue name, and the changes you’d like
We respect artists’ wishes regarding how their work is presented and will process requests promptly.
