About
The Musée Transitoire is an institution-as-artwork that engages with the architecture and acoustics of places in transition. The Ministère Transitoire, the fourth edition of the Musée Transitoire, is an exhibition in several acts. The Frac Île-de-France is partnering with it in the summer of 2026. The theme of the Syndrome de Bonnard aligns with the original purpose of the Musée Transitoire: to question established formats of exhibitions and curation, as well as the role of artists in the art world. The artistic project for Ministère Transitoire Acte III VITAE ACTIVAE, brings together a conclave followed by an exhibition. It draws inspiration from consensus conferences and gathers a citizen panel recruited via classified ads to discuss invited artists and works. An exhibition presented by the Frac Île-de-France as part of its program _Le Syndrome de Bonnard, ou l’impermanence des œuvres_.
