About

Since 2003, the Mini Maousse microarchitecture competition has invited students of architecture, design, art, landscape architecture and engineering to explore small scale with inventiveness and poetry. The 10th edition, entitled Super cabane !, proposes to reinvent the act of building by placing care, attention and sharing at the heart of architecture. Copied to clipboard ©Sylvain Enguehard Students of art, architecture and design were invited to take part in the tenth edition of the Mini Maousse competition, entitled "Supercabane!". This competition challenges them to design a treehouse made from recycled materials, intended to be installed in a school playground and to serve as a space for play and learning. Three submissions were required: a story, a game and a Supercabane design. Supercabane! invites us to rethink the ways we live and care for the world, by supporting local communities and raising awareness of environmental issues among young people and the general public. This edition encourages collaboration with children to build the sustainable cities of tomorrow together. It has been designed for and with primary school children to participate in an ecological workshop for future urban dwellers, and to inspire them to build together in a playful way. The exhibition presents the winning projects from the competition, as well as a selection of 59 treehouses designed by architects, drawings by Roland Shön, and a version of Mini Maousse intended for primary, middle and secondary schools.
