Maureen Gallace

Gladstone is pleased to present an exhibition of new paintings by Maureen Gallace in Seoul, the artist's first presentation in South Korea. Gallace is widely recognized for her intimate portrayals of coastal and rural environments in the American Northeast. Working at a small scale, she renders houses, shorelines, and quiet landscapes with a distilled visual language that balances observation and abstraction. Her scenes feel both specific and elusive, suggesting places shaped as much by memory and perception as by direct experience.
