Blinn and Lambert — North Loop West: Only out an hour

Blinn and Lambert's Only out an hour unfolds as a durational, immersive viewing experience grounded in stillness and incremental change. Two large canvases cover the gallery windows, darkening the room as daylight filters through the fabric. The canvases function as screens—two 35mm slide carousels project soft, abstract forms that advance at different temporal intervals: one changes every eight minutes and twenty seconds—the time light takes to reach Earth from the sun—while the other shifts on the hour, a familiar human measure.
