About

Bringing together new paintings, sculptural elements, and a site-responsive installation, the exhibition marks a significant moment in Hansen's ongoing investigation of painting as a spatial, provisional, and rule-based practice. The exhibition reflects de boer's ongoing focus on artists who treat painting as an expanded and experimental field while interacting with the gallery's historic monument of a space, being the first brutalist building in Antwerp designed by Leon Stynen.
