Craig Krull Gallery is pleased to present 6th Street . In 2010, Los Angeles artist Dan McCleary established Art Division, a non-profit art school for underserved young artists located directly adjacent to his studio on 6th Street in MacArthur park. Over the years, this school has become a safe haven and thriving community for artists and creatives in the area. 6th Street features four artists that contribute to the Art Division community- McCleary, John Nava, and two teachers and former students Javier Carrillo and Victor Reyes. The work in this exhibition uplifts and gives a voice to those who are increasingly unsafe with the political unrest and racial discrimination under the current administration.
