About

New York City–born architect Andrew Yip (AYdrewthing) has carried a lifelong dream of becoming an illustrator since childhood, drawing profound inspiration from the vibrant cartoon cultures of both America and Japan. For Yip, illustrations serve as self-explanatory stories—visual narratives that explore the dynamic interface between human beings, one another, and their surrounding environment. Since settling in Hong Kong ten years ago, Yip has made it his daily practice to navigate and translate the city's unique high-rise density through playful, character-driven artwork. Doodle Dabble invites you to step inside his creative journey and experience Hong Kong's iconic urban landscape through a fresh, imaginative lens. _The content is provided by UrbanRoom.Social_
