Chilled Steps – Boundless Soundscapes

First introduced to audiences in Mar 2021, **_Chilled Steps_** is a series of live concerts curated by Hong Kong musicians to showcase an array of musical styles. From classical, jazz, pop to world music, musicians and music lovers come together to immerse themselves in the refreshing melodies and be rejuvenated after a long day. The series serves as a platform for independent musicians and producers to take on the role of a curator. With each cultivating their own distinguished styles, over 200 local musicians have performed at the Laundry Steps in the past five years. The relaxed atmosphere and up-close encounters have been enjoyed by musicians and audiences alike. This September, Tai Kwun joins forces with FIRST HALF ARTS IN CONCEPT to present **_Chilled Steps: Boundless Soundscapes_**, a three-day mini-music festival celebrating the rich fusion of American jazz with global traditions, from Gypsy swing to Latin rhythms. Join us as a new generation of visionary musicians uses original creativity to dissolve musical borders, transporting you across continents right from your seat.
