About

Cookbooks are far more than manuals; they are chronicles of human civilization. Beyond the kitchen, they mirror the soul of an era, preserving the heritage, culture, and daily lives of generations within a single dish. From July 3 to August 30, PMQ Taste Library and Word By Word Collective join hands to unveil a curated treasure trove of culinary history. Handpicked by guest curator Lui Ka Chun, this exhibition showcases exceptional recipes and rare cookbooks from around the world. Ranging from legendary French masterworks and timeless local household classics to the private collections of top chefs, these pages offer both a precious record of food culture and a spark for creative inspiration. Alongside the exhibition, a series of programmes will bring these recipes to life. Renowned chefs, food influencers, and creatives will gather to reinterpret these flavors and uncover the profound stories behind every dish, page by page.
