About
In Hong Kong, a dedicated community of growers and food artisans quietly captures the city's soul on the plate — preserving the unique climate, soil, and heritage of this land through flavor. PMQ Taste Library and head of LoCoFARMS Katie Chick presents "Taste of Terroir", an exhibition on view from Sep 18 to Nov 8. As guest curator, Katie draws from her experience in eco-cultural conservation and agricultural revival to invite you on a journey to explore Hong Kong's diverse landscapes, and uncover its rich, native flavors. Through an exhibition, selected reads, and immersive events, we'll journey across wetlands, oceans, woodlands, and farmlands to reveal the deep connection between ecology, agriculture, and food production. Discover how local craftsmen blend tradition with innovation to reimagine the future of homegrown ingredients. Terroir isn't just a term reserved for foreign vineyards. Follow your palate and savor the ever-evolving cultural landscape of Hong Kong.
