About
This autumn, Kwai Fung Hin Hong Kong presents _**In Search of Lost Time**_, a group exhibition that invites you step into the comfort of home to relive the smallest, often overlooked details of the everyday. Familiar as it may seem, how much of our everyday life truly registers, and how much slips away, lost to the rush of contemporary life and constant distraction? This exhibition asks us to pause and recover the quiet beauty embedded in the ordinary. Bringing together eleven international artists, the exhibition centers on their shared practice of attentive observation and sensory engagement, through which they explore how domestic interior and daily routine inform our inner lives, memories, and sense of belonging. **From the Living Room to the Shared Table** Here, "living" room refers to art as a vessel for lived experience rather than a physical space; artists explore the connection between interiority and the interior, approaching domestic space as an externalization of memory and emotions. Others work in the reverse direction, channeling our shared experiences with the world into domestic objects, staging a dialogue between self and society, humanity and nature, the traditional and the contemporary. Significant memories often reside in overlooked subtleties. _**In Search of Lost Time**_ is an exhibition to be inhabited, inviting you to perceive with all senses rather than simply glance at its surfaces. To experience life only in broad strokes is to let them fade into obscurity.
