About
In Infinite Spark, Lori Bacigalupi’s paintings evoke a sense of wonder, belonging, and quiet guidance through a collection of cosmic landscapes inspired by NASA imagery of supernovas, stars, and nebulas. Her acrylic paintings on canvas explore what is seen but not often spoken about, our deep connection to the night sky, ancestral knowledge, and the human longing for belonging in a world that can feel divisive and isolating. This exhibition invites viewers back to source: our roots in the cosmos and the infinite beauty found in the light that sparks our universe and those beyond. Stand just 62 miles above Earth, and you are in space. That proximity makes cosmic guidance feel tangible. Our 3.8-billion-year evolutionary path mirrors the rhythms of the universe so chaotic yet purposeful. Whether through zodiac mythology or quantum physics, the message remains the same: patterns exist, and we are inherently wired to recognize them.
