About
Within The Garden Of Containment // A Window The Size Of A Sky is almost a two part show. The 'rooms' or thoughts or themes or experiences are not fully separated. Confinement and exhale, restraint and expanse, squeezed and unfolded. The 'garden room' represents multiple things for me and can change meaning as needed. The same goes for the 'sunset room.' Grow / pause / build expand / pause / there's not enough for me / I have plenty / how am I supposed to fit all of this in 24 hours / I have more sunsets to witness than I can count / fuck / exhale / I once heard roots used to weave together so nobody would fall / what is the story I tell myself and which parts are fictional / whose future are we supporting / pay our fucking teachers how else would you know anything about making millions off bullshit we don't need / damn the pink in the clouds is popping / some of it is real wind and some of it is a fan being powered by people I can only see on tv / I should be throwing hands on this pot but then what would happen to me / the glow of the sun lit up my window and my muscles I didn't know existed relaxed / this isn't exhaustive but it is exhausting / god damn I'm grateful for beauty
