Sophia Bounou and Paul McDowall

The Hole is proud to host Blond Contemporary in Tribeca for the month. This London gallery will be showcasing two of their New York-based artists, each with a two-week solo exhibition in our space. Sophia Bounou is a French-Moroccan artist whose vibrant, instinctive paintings transform the people, relationships and experiences surrounding her into densely layered visual worlds. And immediately following, New York-based artist Paul McDowall exhibits uncanny paintings that capture the stillness of pools at night. Blond Contemporary is run by Phillip Blond in London's Picadilly and have exhibited a wide variety of contemporary art, both primary and secondary market works recently including Trudy Benson, Katherine Bernhardt, Daniel Crews-Chubb and Lucien Smith.
