Happy Hour

"Happy Hour" is that familiar window where everything feels easier, funnier, and less serious than it probably should be. Drinks arrive before we have decided how we feel. Conversations start before we know what we want to say. We are looking for works that respond to the culture, mood, and psychology of happy hour. We welcome works that reflect on pleasure, habit, release, self-control, social performance, and the emotional complexity that can exist within seemingly casual acts of drinking.
