A National Juried Exhibition July 2 - July 31, 2026 ● Curated by Hayley Ferber Opening Reception Rescheduled: Thursday, July 9, 6 - 8 PM "Examining the interplay of order and disorder, revealing how balance and structure can arise from unpredictability and flux." 440 Gallery is proud to present the juried 2026 Summer Theme Show, Harmony & Chaos. Exploring the tension between order and disorder, the selected artists reveal how balance and meaning can emerge from unpredictability and change. The exhibition is juried by Hayley Ferber, a Brooklyn-based independent curator. Ferber writes about the collection: Harmony & Chaos examines the interplay between order and disorder, revealing how balance and structure can exist alongside unpredictability and change. Through diverse materials, processes, and perspectives, the artists in this exhibition explore the dynamic tension between these seemingly opposing forces. Their works highlight moments where disruption gives way to beauty, growth, and unexpected connections. Together, they suggest that harmony is not the absence of chaos, but a state that exists alongside it.
