About
Jennie Ing and Timothy Sutton are getting together again for their annual show at the Fountain Gallery, showing their distinctive trade mark work: Jennie with her linocut prints of favourite local and London scenes; Timothy with portraits in oils of pets and people. Both artists are looking forward to meeting you and chatting about their work. One of them will be in the gallery every day with both together on the Sundays. Jennie works from her garage studio in southwest London where she prints her many layered colourful linocuts on a Victorian albion press. As well as the Fountain Gallery she is a member of the Printmakers Council and Greenwich Printmakers, and has work in the V&A collection and the Scarborough Art Gallery archive, as well as in private collections in the UK and abroad. Working from his South London studio in Brixton, Timothy Sutton continues to grow an outstanding body of commissioned portrait work. Widely recognised for his photorealistic paintings of animals, his practice also embraces human subjects alongside linocuts and hand-coloured etchings.
