IN THE LOOP

Running 18 September 2026 to 2 October 2026 at Atom Gallery, _In The Loop_ is a group-exhibition curated by Jane Mutiny and Lee Hybrid Desire. The exhibition brings together new works by emerging and established women and non-binary street artists - keep your eyes peeled, line up to be announced soon! If you use spray paint, you'll know Loop - the cans come in boxes of four. Like a lot of artists, Jane and Lee had been thinking about the waste their materials leave behind, and those empty boxes seemed like a good place to start. For _In the Loop_, each one is flattened out and handed over to an artist as a canvas. "We all struggle to keep up with recycling and reducing our waste. As artists we are aware of our environmental footprint with our materials. What about all that stuff that's just thrown away? Can't we make something out of it? So we thought, how about taking a very normal material - a cardboard box - and turn it into a piece of beautiful art?
