Melville Price

The Estate of Melville Price (1920-1970) has donated a major portion of his estate holdings to the Greenville County Museum of Art in South Carolina. The museum is already home to a substantial collection of Price works and this donation will create the largest repository of the artist's work held by one institution. The McCormick Gallery has represented the estate for over thirty years and are pleased to have helped the estate find a permanent home for Melville Price's artistic legacy. We will continue to represent Price with a new gallery exhibition "Boy In A Forest - a selection of works from the estate" showing in Chicago from February 6 - March 20.
