Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists: Small Works Exhibition 2026

The Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) returns to the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild Gallery at the Elmhurst Art Museum with their 2026 Small Works Exhibition -- on view May 30-June 26. This dynamic juried show features over 100 works selected showcasing painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, fiber, collage, bronze, and more — all measuring 24 inches or smaller. Despite the compact scale, the exhibition offers a powerful and diverse contemporary art experience that invites viewers to slow down, look closely, and discover unexpected moments of beauty, emotion, and creativity. The free opening reception takes place Friday, June 12, from 6-8pm and all artwork is available for purchase.
