Roll Call 2026

This exhibition features over a dozen pop-up solo and group shows in four unique combinations, changing every few weeks throughout the summer. Featuring a wide variety of local artists, there will always be something new to see and celebrate. Round 1 (June 25 - July 12): Domestication Syndrome – Heather Baumbach, Tyson Gentry, Ashley Rabanal, Jessica Swank, Annabel Turrado, Rochelle Voyles (Curated by Amalya Megerman) – Through painting, sculpture, and video, Domestication Syndrome examines the ways humans and animals alike are atomized and manipulated into more exploitable forms. Home Studio – Quincey Spagnoletti – Drawing from memory and conversations with maternal figures, photographer Quincey Spagnoletti revisits the spaces and objects that shaped her — the gestures, rituals, and unspoken rules passed down through generations. Record of a Tenderness Overgrown – Anya Zhiyao Li and Anna Forrest Fischler – Through layered surfaces, handmade structures, and intimate acts of recordkeeping, two emerging artists consider how love, memory, and attachment become material. Round 2 (July 16-26): Were You Always There? – Marisa McCarthy, Charlie Dov Schön, Ashley Jin, Angela Wei, Gina Yu (Curated by Enzo Nguyen and Marisa McCarthy) – This exhibition explores the concept of liminal spaces in relation to hybrid identities and asks how artists traverse and build homes and futures in the liminal. Animal Nature – Ileana Doble Hernandez – Two dogs, one cat and one woman re-learn to live together in their new environment after their immigration journey. Their humorous encounters blur the lines between fiction and reality, and remind us of our own animal nature. MONDO FIASCO – Adric Giles – An amalgamation of a life's work (so far) that includes analog video, projection, sculpture, an array of paintings and live durational music performance. Round 3 (July 30 - August 9): Where A Name Should Be – Destiny S Palmer – Color, in this sense, becomes a voice— and sometimes it speaks in a language you cannot ignore. Speculative Monuments – Dina Gjertsen – A scale model reimagining of American institutions and monuments SINKHOLE! – Joseph Smolin – Drawing on the artist's experience of losing his home to Hurricane Helene, SINKHOLE! explores how and why we derive meaning from disaster. The Ties That Bind Us – Sonya Tanae Fort – Through intimate portraiture, this exhibition explores the relationships, moments, and cultural influences that shape who we become. Round 4 (August 13 - 30): Beyond The Surface – Ayana Mack, Michael Talbot, Naijah Nine – In this exhibition, the artists present a cohesive yet expansive exploration of their individual connections between flowers and emotional states. The Miracle of Coherence – Cassidy Thurber, Brynne Quinlan, John Savoia – Three photographers based in New England attempt to untangle and bring to light their closest relationships while grappling with the physical and metaphysical. Dandelions – Nick Ward – Paintings that use the plight of dandelions to playfully poke at serious topics like power, control, and traditional family values.
