About
This juried exhibition presents a banquet of art filled with delectable representations of comfort food, cultural touchstones, home cooking, and fanciful dining. Food and eating is a central part of human life – one of the few truly universal things that connects us all. Food is fuel, and engaging with it can range in experience from banal to transcendent. Food can delight or disgust, provide comfort or take us on an adventure. The artworks in this show celebrate local food, explore food as a site of cultural exchange, and take on the emotional ties to the things we eat.
