Megan Magill: Instructions for Dancing

I paint people. People in love. People in conflict. People somewhere in between. I start with an image—collected or found. This part of the process is reassuring to me. I am not alone in this. Someone was here before. From there, it becomes a conversation between me and the painting. Nothing is prescribed.
