Everything, Everywhere

The gallery Under The Mango Tree is proud to present Minh Kha Le's (*1999) first solo exhibition in Berlin. After graduating in July 2026 from the Berlin University of the Arts, her range of works, from paintings to unique vernis mous on sheer muslin textile, will be presented under the title _Everything, Everywhere_. The exhibition investigates the relationship between humans and nature, using the landscape as a metaphorical canvas for the interconnectedness of the mental and the material. Moving between figuration and abstraction, Minh Kha Le's paintings create spaces in which bodies, landscapes, plants, animals and other forms of life continuously emerge and dissolve into one another. Rather than presenting nature as something separate from the human, her works imagine a world in which boundaries between species, bodies and environments remain fluid. This interconnectedness extends to questions of identity, challenging fixed categories and inviting a more relational understanding of the self and its surroundings. At the centre of the exhibition is a large triptych, _Tomorrow's Memories_, measuring two metres in height and 4.50 metres in length. The expansive work draws the viewer into a constantly shifting landscape in which recognisable forms coexist with abstract gestures and intense fields of colour. Figures appear and disappear within the surrounding environment, creating a visual language that moves between the intimate and the planetary, the figurative and the abstract. Across from the large-scale paintings, a series of 50 × 40 cm black-and-white vernis mous (soft-ground etchings) on sheer muslin textiles offers a more delicate counterpoint. Stretched over wooden frames, the textiles create intentional bends in the printed surfaces, subtly distorting the images and introducing another layer of transformation. The tension between scale, material and movement runs throughout the exhibition, inviting the viewer to look closely and to remain with the works as their forms shift between recognition and dissolution. The exhibition's title, _Everything, Everywhere_, ultimately refers to this sense of fluidity and interconnectedness. In a moment marked by ecological crisis, geopolitical unrest and increasingly rigid ideas of identity and belonging, Minh Kha Le's works offer a space in which the boundaries separating human and non-human, body and landscape, and self and environment can be reconsidered. The exhibition becomes an invitation to reflect on what it means to exist within a shared planetary environment.
